Manifesto

May the oppressed go free

to release the Creation

lying fallow and frozen within.

whole

How we long to be whole

all these disparate parts

that should not be so.

Like a tree

I asked God:

"How do I wear beauty

with neither arrogance

nor apology?"

She answered:

"Like a tree."

Birdlove

Faith in the birds

It asks so little

of me

Yet fills me with as

much

Comfort and Joy as

Jesus

used to.

And sometimes still does.
